Processwork is an integrative practice originated by Arnold Mindell and draws on Jungian psychology, systems thinking, taoism and indigenous wisdom and practices.
Processwork is an awareness practice and has developed as a way of working with individuals and groups. Within the context of therapy this leads to a psychotherapy practice that supports greater awareness of ourselves in the world - and the potential to experience ourselves in our wholeness.
One way to think of wholeness is that there is more fluidity in our experience, leading to having more choice in how we interact within ourselves, in our relationships and in world situations.
This is a powerful modality that includes paying attention to our social context and dynamics. It is both practical and creative and at times challenging, Working with Processwork can lead to profound and meaningful experiences and change.
It’s often the difficulties that bring me to therapy and Processwork, yet it’s the explorations and surprises along the way, discovering how this changes me and my relationships in the world, that keeps me engaged.
